Specialized Economic Exhibition of Iran Opens in Turkmenistan
The exhibition presents the best products of the Iranian industrial enterprises and modern Iranian technologies and engineering services.

The Specialized Economic Exhibition of Iran kicked off at the expo center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in capital Ashgabat on Wednesday.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition gathered members of the Turkmen Government, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, branch ministries and departments, domestic businesses, public organizations and mass media, the official Turkmen media reports.

A welcome address of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the specialized exhibition of Iranian producers was read out at the beginning of the ceremony.

“I am confident that this large-scale forum will be of great importance in further strengthening a solid foundation for long-term cooperation and development of bilateral partnership in all areas between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his address.

The Head of State stressed that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to development and strengthening of bilateral relations with Iran.

President Berdimuhamedov said the agreements reached between the businesspeople of the two countries during the exhibition will open new opportunities for further expansion of trade-economic cooperation.

The exhibition presents the best products of the Iranian industrial enterprises and modern Iranian technologies and engineering services, according to the report.

The purpose of the exhibition is to present the latest developments of the Iranian businesses in various fields of production and construction, familiarize Iranian businesses with the Turkmen buyers and their demands with the subsequent formation of stronger trade relations between the countries.

The exhibition will continue until February 17.
