The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) loan portfolio in Turkmenistan for 2022 amounts nearly €35 million.
The loan portfolio is designed to implement 28 projects, reports Azerbaijani Trend on Saturday, with reference to the EBRD.
Most of the portfolio (96% or €33 million) is aimed at investing in sustainable infrastructure, while 4% or €2 million is invested in financial institutions.
According to the report, the EBRD has invested over €334 million in 87 projects in Turkmenistan.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is an international financial organization which has implemented over 6.1 thousand projects since the beginning of its activity. Since its operation in Turkmenistan, the Bank has invested over €323 million in 88 projects in Turkmenistan.
