Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to $16.1 million in January 2023, according to the report published by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan on Monday.
In January, Uzbekistan imported $10.4 million worth of Turkmen products. At the same period, the country’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $5.7 million.
Uzbekistan's total foreign trade turnover in January 2023 amounted to $5 billion, which, compared to the same period last year, is an increase of $1.5 billion, or 42 percent.
In 2022, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan amounted to $926.3 million.
