Lebapgazçykaryş Management of Türkmengaz State Concern, the national natural gas company of Turkmenistan, produced 1.19 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January this year.
Thus, the Lebapgazçykaryş fulfilled the plan of natural gas production by 104 percent, the press service of Türkmengaz reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, natural gas production at Kukurtli field amounted to more than 846 million cubic meters last month.
Part of the extracted gas is fed into the Malay-Bagtyyarlyk gas pipeline, which supplied 489 million cubic meters of gas last month. This same pipeline also supplies natural gas to China.
