Gurtly residential complex, located in western part of Turkmen capital Ashgabat, will be expanded with 46 four-storey apartment buildings, school, kindergarten, shopping center and park.
To this end, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan announced the relevant tender upon the order of the Ashgabat city Administration and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which was published on the Monday issue of the local Neytralnyi Turkmenistan newspaper.
Among the 46 residential buildings expected to be constructed, 16 will contain 68 apartments and 30 will contain 40 apartments. Thus, a total of 2,288 new apartments will appear in the residential area.
The tender also includes a secondary school for 720 students, a kindergarten for 320 children, a park, a shopping and entertainment center, and 7 two-storeyed trading and service buildings.
The tender additionally includes laying of internal roads of the complex, drinking water and sewage networks.
On December 28 last year, the solemn ceremony with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was held to mark the opening of new social buildings, including 62 four-storey apartment buildings designed to house 3,064 families in the Gurtly residential complex.
