Job Purpose

The production operator shall carry out production process activities including monitoring the operation of equipment (platform topside safety process facilities, pipeline networks, manifolds, wells, pumps, compressors etc) and activities of operators and contract labourers assigned to platform to achieve safely and efficiently established production objectives as specified by Company management

Job Responsibilities

• Shall insure safe working conditions in the process area and shall ensure compliance with current safety (HSE, IMS, PTW system, Emergency Response Plan)
• Implement safety, health and environmental regulations and policies
• Operate and service offshore production equipment
• Ensure safe and efficient oil / gas separation process at designated platform including PLC system.
• Ensure the offshore production process equipment functioning at an optimum level within safe operating parameters.
• Notify offshore production key personnel of any emergencies.
• Take accurate process and utility equipment readings.
• Maintain good housekeeping across the entire platform.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and explosive liquids / materials
• Production operator will work on the offshore production facilities in the Lam and Zhdanov field located in the Caspian Sea.
• The rotation will be 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. However if the need arises, he will be called for duty and duly compensated as per DOTL company procedures.
• Due to operational needs can perform night production activities during the night shift.
• The PO will ensure that there will be Zero discharge of any material, substance, chemical and Hydrocarbons into the Caspian Sea. The PO will report to the SPO any suspicious substances he notices in the vicinity.
• He should participate in safety programs to eliminate accidents and preserve company assets as BAPP – Behavior Accident Prevention process. 
• Due to operation requirements, Production operator can be transferred to other production platforms by the instruction from Offshore Production Supervisor.
• To assist other disciplines (hot oilers, instrument technicians, slick line, well testing etc) when need arises.
• To implement any other written or verbal duties assigned by Line Manager, which do not contradict Turkmenistan Legislation.
• To perform pipeline pigging, asset integrity, pressure/leak tests, LOTO, etc.
• Annual knowledge verification for local compliance
• For non-fulfillment (improper performance) of the duties stipulated by job description, in the range of identified by Turkmenistan legislation.
• For implementation in process of carrying out works with violations in range of identified by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Turkmenistan.
• For causing material damages - in the range identified by the labor, criminal and civil laws of Turkmenistan.
