Job Purpose

All kind of welding jobs. Cutting scrap metal constructions prior disposal. At absence of welding works performs work of the rigger, that is: painting; cleaning of territory; sorting and exporting waste oil; clearing industrial tanks. Following up instructions of the foreman, department head and DOTL management in order to implement the operational tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding of structural units of various steels, ferrous metals and alloys.
• Perform welding of complex construction and technological structures operating under dynamic and vibration loads, and structures of complex configuration.
• Perform welding of metal assemblies.
• Perform welding in all spatial positions of the weld.
• Perform surfacing of defects of various parts, assemblies, mechanisms and structures.
• Use angle grinders and other electric tools necessary for performing the job.
• Perform preparatory and assembly operations prior to welding and cleaning of welds after welding.
• Check operability and serviceability of welding equipment, adjustment of welding equipment taking into account features of its specialized functions (capability).
• Remove the outer metal defects (pores, slag inclusions, undercuts, rolls, etc., except cracks).
• Perform arc cutting of simple cuts.
• Perform welding work on the scaffolding and confined space.
