YDA Turkmenistan Seeks Local Consultant for Recruiting Training Program
Job title: Local Consultant on Training Program on Recruiting
Department: Turkmenistan - Youth Development Activity (YDA)
Overall Objective and Purpose
As part of its goals and objectives, YDA is going to design and implement a training program on recruiting. The program will train participants in recruiting techniques, including such skills as resume review, conducting effective interviews, using AI in hiring process, soft skills for recruiters, automation of recruitment processes, etc. Upon completing the training program, the participants should be qualified enough to get internships and/or jobs with local companies. YDA will hire a short-term local consultant who will be tasked with organizing and implementing the above-mentioned work
Responsibilities:
The consultant will be required to perform the following duties in coordination with YDA staff:
- Design a training program on effective recruiting.
- Participate in the participant selection process.
- Organize and conduct training sessions, individual and group consultations, and coaching sessions on recruiting skills, including but not limited to: resume review, conducting effective interviews, using AI in hiring process, automation of recruitment processes, and other relevant skills.
- Organize soft skills trainings focusing on communication skills, resume writing, creating social media accounts.
- Support program participants in getting internships and jobs with local companies.
Requirements:
Education:
- Higher education in social sciences, international development, HR, economics, or other related fields.
- Completion of a training for trainers (ToT) on training methodology and ToT on soft skills.
- Completion of other advanced programs/trainings in relevant areas.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HR.
- Experience in arranging and managing public events.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Written and spoken proficiency in Turkmen, English, and Russian is required.
Expected period of implementation: March - June 2024
