Job title: Local consultant on sales and tendering process

Location: Ashgabat, Ashgabat City

Overall Objective and Purpose

As part of its goals and objectives, YDA is going to design and implement a training program on sales and tendering processes related to industrial equipment and services. The program will provide participants with training in sales techniques and methods, as well as expertise in current tendering procedures. It will feature theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and real-life case studies.

Upon completing the program, participants should be qualified to work as salespersons for private companies, assisting their employers in the marketing and selling of industrial equipment and services, and participating in tenders. YDA will hire a short-term local consultant to organize and implement the program.

Responsibilities:

• The consultant will be responsible for implementing the following activities in coordination with YDA staff.
• Design and develop a comprehensive training curriculum that aligns with the needs of the local heavy industries.
• Develop training materials, including presentations, case studies, and handouts.
• Participate in the participants selection process if needed.
• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions.
• Facilitate discussions on the best practices, challenges, and solutions related to the marketing and sales of products and services.
• Provide insights and real-life cases that reflect the current trends, challenges, and opportunities within local industries.
• Modify training approaches and materials based on participant engagement and feedback to meet various learning needs and preferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Higher education degree in marketing, engineering, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience with sales and promotion in the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, or refining industries.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes, products, and technologies.
• Familiarity with market dynamics, trends, and challenges specific to the local heavy industries.
• Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, or mentoring individuals or teams, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
