Job Purpose
- Timely calculation of salaries.
- Provision of relevant information and clarifications to employees regarding their salaries.
Job Responsibilities
- Receipt of timesheets from the HR Department in the electronic form (Excel format) and calculation of the timesheets by exporting them into the salary software;
- Calculation of salaries and other payments of company employees as per the employment contracts and other relevant lists of the HR Department;
- Calculation of allowances for temporary disability as per verification and specified date of the HR Department on the sick leave certificate;
- Calculation for memorandums received from the HR Department after their preliminary verification by the legal counsels of the company;
- Preparation of data and operative reports related to salaries;
- Preparation of data and information on collection of alimonies;
- Performance of instructions of the line manager and company management.
- Receiving primary payroll documentation and not receiving payroll documents for implementation without their preliminary verification by the HR Department and legal counsels of the company.
- Issuing salary related references to company employees upon their request;
- Submission of salary summary and summary per each employee for verification and approval of the line manager and company management;
- Submission of the summary list to the Finance Department at Ashgabat Office for further attribution of payroll costs.
- To comply with confidentiality requirements under the applicable laws of Turkmenistan and company policies.
- Review and initial expense claim forms submitted by employees through HR department prior to approval of Lead Accountant or Head of Finance
Must Know:
- Solid working knowledge and experience in the generally recognized principles of international and local accounting practices, National accounting standards, labour law and other relevant regulations.
- Knowledge and use of accounting software (preferably SAP and/or Oracle), MS Office programs, as well as good written and spoken English.
Other Finance and Accounting competencies include:
- Financial Authority Manual (FAM)
- Accounting Fundamentals
- Expense Reporting and Employee Advances
- Able to communicate with all departments, including staff in the Dubai office and in the field office.
- Strictly follow all the requirements of the Company HSE rules, policies and regulations.
- Comply with the Local and International HSE Rules and Regulations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Studies. Professional accreditation (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA) is not mandatory but good to have. Equivalent local Turkmenistan degrees are acceptable.
- Minimum 2 years oil and gas industry finance and accounting experience, with at least one year in an international company.
