Job Purpose

Maintenance, repair and fabrication of metal structures and assemblies of metal pipes. Connection of metal parts, filling of seams and holes in metal parts as per drawings and specifications. Laying of flexible pipelines, grouting at offshore and onshore facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• To request and receive necessary information, as well as materials and documents related to his activities.
• To improve qualification, undergo additional training (requalification).
• To enter into relations with subdivisions of third-party institutions and organizations to resolve issues within his competence.
• To take part in the discussion of issues within his functional responsibilities.
• To make suggestions and comments on the issue of improvement of activities at the assigned area of work.
• To use information materials and legal documents necessary for performance of his job duties.
• To undergo certification in accordance with the established procedure.
• To perform welding of complex joints of structures and pipelines of various steels, non-ferrous metals and alloys.
• To carry out welding of complex building and technological structures operating under dynamic and vibration loads and complex configuration structures.
• To perform welding of assemblies of metal pipelines working under high pressure.
• To perform welding in all spatial positions of the welding joint.
• To carry out fusing of defects of various parts, joints, mechanisms and structures.
• To use angle grinders and other electrical tools necessary for work.
• To carry out preparatory and assembly operations before welding and weld dressing after welding.
• To carry out functional testing and check the integrity of welding equipment, adjustment of welding equipment considering special characteristics of its specialized functions (capabilities).

Qualification Requirements:

Education at the level of high standards in the field of electric gas welding and assembly with at least 5-year experience in the assembly and installation of pipelines and structures.
