Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan Seeks Administrative Assistant

EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA ANNOUNCES JOB OPENINGS FOR THE POSITION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Contract Type: temporary (1 year 1 month)

Position Title: Administrative assistant

1 person as a Secretary to the Ambassador.

Major Responsibilities

Job-specific responsibilities: Secretary to the Ambassador

  • managing ambassador’s schedules, handling correspondences and phone calls
  • organizing and preparing meetings and appointments
  • booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation

General responsibilities

  • assisting the members of the Embassy in the various fields (politics, economy, culture, sports, administration, consular affairs and etc.)
  • drafting and translating correspondences to and from governmental organizations, including Ministry of Foreign Affairs and State Migration Service
  • performing other duties and instructions given by the members of the Embassy, which are related to the work of the Embassy.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, Russian, and Turkmen languages
  • Degree in higher education (bachelor, master and etc.)
  • Good knowledge of the institutions, policies, conventions and social practices of the Turkmenistan
  • Ability to use MS-OFFICE, especially Excel and Word

Preferable Skills

  • Working knowledge of Turkmen and (or) Korean language.
  • Professional skills and experience in the relevant field                                                   

Salary and Working Conditions

  • Monthly salary : Maximum 900-1000 USD (will be determined upon the results of interview)
  • Social pension contributions will be paid by the Embassy.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00 (Lunch break: 12:30-13:30)

Recruitment Process

1st stage: Document review

Document submission: 15/11/2024 – 22/11/2024
Announcement of the result: end of November

2nd stage: Interview and Announcement of the final result: 29/11/2024
Background Investigation (2 - 4 weeks)
Commencement of work: February, 2025

  • CV with photo 4X5, which was taken within last 3 months.
  • Diploma / Transcript with grades, translated and notarized in English
  • (if available) Document to prove the skills and work experiences
  • (if available) Recommendation letter(s).
