Job Purpose

QA/QC Inspector assures the quality of Construction and Maintenance activities by providing various types of Quality Assurances and Quality Control activities. Also, ensures In-House project quality by performing design reviews and inspection of new materials contributing in project quality assurance

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor the condition of facilities component including piping, tanks foundation and other inspectable equipment.
• Report abnormal finding to Operation and Integrity management along with corrective action
• Act as ISO 9001 QMS focal point in the field and IMS focal point for the department.
• Follow up on implementation of the corrective actions
• Highlight any deviation from normal practice, codes and standards.
• Witness and certify hydro-test for old or new installation by Maintenance, In house construction or EPIC Contractor
• Qualify the contractor’s QA/QC program in conjunction with QA/QC Engineer (DOHL) for new project
• Monitor the activities of the project Third Party Authorities (TPA).
• Prepare all necessary QA/QC Document on behalf of In house construction team and issue Mechanical Completion Certificate.

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher Professional Education
• 5-10 years relevant experience, preferably including arduous assignments ref third world operations
• Certified for NDT examination and welding inspection
• This candidate must have ability and experience to evaluate QA/QC finding in the field of construction with consultation of Integrity Superintendent. Good computer skills with MS Office programmes
• Proven track record in NDT welding techniques
• Awareness of various international codes, standards and specifications for manufacturing, inspection, testing and to execute projects.
• NDT at welding qualifications.
