Turkmenistan Opens New Residential Buildings, Villages on Independence Day Eve

On the eve of the 32nd Anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, solemn ceremonies were held on Friday to mark the opening of new residential buildings in the Parahat-7 and Choganly residential complexes of Ashgabat city, as well as two new villages in the Gokdepe district of Ahal province.

The Parahat-7 residential complex witnessed the simultaneous opening of 10 nine-storey residential buildings. Six of these buildings feature 54 flats each, while the remaining four have 36 flats each, as reported by official Turkmen media.

In the Choganly residential complex of Ashgabat, the ceremony commemorated the opening of 24 two-storey five-room houses.

Two new villages – Nurly Zaman and Kopetdagyn Yalkymi – were inaugurated in the Gokdepe district. These new settlements comprise residential houses, schools, kindergartens, health centers, and markets.

In celebration of the forthcoming anniversary of the country's Independence, a ceremony was held in Arkadag city to lay the foundation stone of a children's park. The momentous occasion was attended by the city administration, representatives of public organizations, esteemed elders, cultural workers, mass media representatives, and employees of the company responsible for constructing the children's park.

Meanwhile, the city of Dashoguz in Turkmenistan's northern province is witnessing the construction of over 80 new residential buildings. As part of the festivities for Turkmenistan's 32nd anniversary of independence, three of these residential buildings will be completed and made available for use.
