The international exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023" (OGT-2023) started Wednesday morning at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in the capital Ashgabat. The international conference with the same name will begin in the afternoon.
In his congratulatory letter to the exhibition and conference participants, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said: "The international conference and exhibition are called upon to become another milestone to strengthening mutually beneficial economic cooperation. I am convinced that this oil and gas forum organised in the white city of Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, where the processing industry is developing along with the export of raw materials, will make it possible to increase the number of partners and strengthen cooperation with them. Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on starting the XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023".
Over 50 companies operating in the energy sector participated in the exhibition, including notable names such as SOCAR, CNPC, Gaffney Cline, Schlumberger, Dragon Oil, Mitro International, Areti International Group, Buried Hill, ENI Turkmenistan Limited, Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited, Haldor Topsoe, Çalık Enerji, Mitsubishi Corporation, Siemens Energy LLC, and Sumitomo Corporation Europe Ltd.
The objective of OGT 2023 is to strengthen regional dialogue, examine global trends in the energy sector, and attract foreign investment in Turkmenistan's oil and gas industry.
