UIET 16th Anniversary Exhibition Opens in Ashgabat
Exhibition commemorating the 16th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, March 17, 2024, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

A three-day exhibition celebrating the 16th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) opened on Sunday at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, located in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat. The event also hosted a UIET member conference.

The exhibition showcases the experience, achievements, and opportunities of Turkmen entrepreneurs, as well as national programs of the private sector, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by members of the government, leaders and representatives of Halk Maslahaty, the Mejlis, ministries and departments, public organizations, media, foreign companies, as well as diplomatic missions of various countries and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan.

In his welcoming address, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that in the era of the Renaissance of a new epoch of a powerful state, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan diligently works towards achieving the high goals of modernity and implementing state development programs.

This year, more than 230 private companies, individual enterprises, and producers participated in the extensive exhibition organized by the UIET with the participation of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition showcased the achievements and successes of enterprises engaged in the production of construction materials, industrial products, household chemicals, clothing, footwear, furniture, non-alcoholic beverages, clean drinking water, as well as animal husbandry, fisheries, and food industries.

The exhibition commemorating the 16th anniversary of the UIET will run until March 19.
