The Turkmen pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka has been recognized as one of the most striking and innovative national displays, drawing attention for its impressive architecture and thoughtful concept. Designed and constructed by the Turkmen architectural firm Belli, the three-story structure presents a thematic journey through Turkmenistan’s natural beauty, heritage, and modern achievements.

The first floor features a high-tech environment with a large spherical screen and immersive multimedia installations. Visitors can take a virtual tour of Turkmenistan, exploring its nature, history and culture through cutting-edge audiovisual technologies.

The second floor showcases the country’s sectoral accomplishments, including energy, industry, healthcare, education, sports and science. A key highlight is the exhibit on medicinal plants, reflecting the nation’s traditional medical practices.

The third floor functions as a cultural center, displaying authentic Turkmen carpets, traditional embroidery, museum artifacts and applied arts. A national restaurant offers Turkmen cuisine made from organic ingredients, while the open terrace features traditional Turkmen gazebos.

Turkmenistan’s National Day at EXPO 2025 was held on April 14, following the official opening of the exhibition. Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the pavilion that day, underscoring the country’s commitment to participating in global cultural and technological dialogue.

EXPO 2025 is taking place from April 13 to October 13 on the man-made island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
