Turkmenistan showcased the achievements of its textile industry at the International Textile Forum, which was held on July 8 in Dushanbe with the participation of representatives from government agencies, business circles and leading companies from Central Asia and other regions, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan.
The Turkmen delegation highlighted the production of high-quality cotton products, the introduction of modern technologies, the expansion of export potential and the development of a full production cycle. Special attention was given to opportunities for cooperation with foreign partners.
As part of the forum, a series of bilateral meetings were held with Tajik companies to discuss prospects for collaboration, joint projects and technology exchange.
The Turkmen delegation also visited textile enterprises in Dushanbe, including the Guliston factory, where they familiarized themselves with production processes and discussed areas of cooperation in the near future.
