President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has presented a Karabakh horse named Dostlug to National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, according to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
The ceremonial handover took place on July 17 at the scenic Jydyr Duzu plateau in Shusha, where a special presentation of the famed Karabakh breed was organized for the Turkmen guest.
On the same day, President Aliyev and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov held a joint lunch in Shusha.
The visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen People to Azerbaijan concluded following the event.
