A Turkmen delegation led by Minister of Construction and Architecture Abdulla Geldiyev held several meetings with representatives of the United Arab Emirates government, the leadership of dmg events, and international construction and engineering companies. The sides discussed expanding supplies of Turkmen construction materials to the UAE and Gulf countries.
The talks took place on the sidelines of the Big 5 Global 2025 exhibition in Dubai. The parties also reviewed potential areas of cooperation, particularly in digital and engineering solutions, TEF reported Wednesday.
Speaking at Big 5 Global 2025, Geldiyev presented an overview of key trends in Turkmenistan’s construction sector, highlighting priorities such as sustainable urban development, infrastructure modernization, and the adoption of international standards.
The Turkmen delegation visited the national pavilions of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and China, where members explored new solutions in energy-efficient technologies, smart-city systems, and infrastructure development.
International companies gave positive feedback on the results of the CIET 2025 exhibition held earlier in Avaza. The Turkmen side extended invitations to the next industry event, CIET 2026, scheduled for November.
Big 5 Global 2025 is one of the world’s largest construction industry exhibitions. It is held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and brings together manufacturers, developers, and technology companies showcasing new materials, engineering solutions, and digital technologies for modern construction.
