Ashgabat hosted the Ashgabat Fashion Show, held to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, Turkmen official media reported Monday.
Ten Turkmen designers and clothing boutiques presented collections including children’s clothing, garments with national motifs, and modern-style outfits.
The audience saw skillful combinations of traditional patterns with contemporary silhouettes, complemented by national silver jewelry, giving the show the status of a genuine artistic event.
In 2023, Turkmenistan was included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of design.
