Oguljahan Atabayeva, vice president for medical activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Children in Need of Guardianship, and Leyla Aliyeva, vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed a memorandum of understanding Tuesday during a meeting at the Avaza National Tourist Zone, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, including child healthcare initiatives, the exchange of experience between relevant foundations, and the expansion of charitable programs.
Atabayeva highlighted the importance of cultural and humanitarian partnership as a key component of interstate relations and emphasized the potential for further institutional cooperation.
Aliyeva expressed gratitude for the invitation and hospitality, stressing the importance of ongoing humanitarian projects and the relevance of joint initiatives supporting children.
On the same day, a branch of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Children in Need of Guardianship was opened in Avaza.
