Rustam Minnikhanov Visits Turkmenistan Pavilion at Kazan Halal Market

Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, visited the Turkmenistan pavilion at the international Kazan Halal Market fair, held as part of the Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum 2026 from May 12 to 17 in Kazan.

This year, around 100 companies from 11 Russian regions and nine foreign countries are participating in the exhibition. The exposition features a wide range of products that comply with halal standards, according to social media posts by Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov announced that Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, will also visit Kazan to participate in the forum’s events.

The Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum is considered one of the key platforms for developing economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and countries of the Islamic world.
