Turkmenistan's national costumes were showcased on July 4 at the international designer fashion show "Art-Storytelling Paris–Deauville" held in Deauville, France, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France.
Head of the embroidery department of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, designer Jennet Agayeva, representatives of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and staff of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France attended the event. Visitors to the event viewed works reflecting the combination of Turkmen decorative and applied arts, national embroidery traditions and contemporary design approaches.
The "Art-Storytelling Paris–Deauville" international exhibition brought together designers from France, Vietnam, Morocco, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. During the event, collections combining national traditions with contemporary fashion were presented, highlighting the textile and artistic heritage of various countries. The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the international fashion event will contribute to promoting Turkmenistan's cultural heritage internationally, strengthening humanitarian cooperation and expanding professional ties in the fashion and creative industries.
Delegation comprising representatives of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and staff of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France took part in an international educational program in Paris dedicated to brand development in the creative industries. The program included masterclasses on modern branding and marketing approaches for promoting national cultural projects internationally, and participants were awarded certificates upon completing the training.
