A Turkmen delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Organizational State Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atahallyyev is on a working visit to the city of Kronenberg in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The trip is taking place on the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan as part of preparations for the World Horse Championship and the Akhal-Teke horse beauty contest, Turkmen state media reported on Wednesday.
During the visit, work is underway to ensure the participation of Akhal-Teke horses in the international competitions, as well as to organize events that will be held as part of the championship. Particular attention is being paid to selecting the venue for the events and decorating it in the national style.
Members of the Turkmen delegation are holding meetings with local horse breeders and international experts engaged in equine research. A presentation was also held at the venue designated for the international events. Participants discussed arrangements for the equestrian competitions and the horse beauty contest, as well as plans to design the venue in line with modern international standards, including the placement of design elements and informational signage.
Local specialists and horse breeders emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial exchanges of experience, noting the value of providing European equine specialists with broader exposure to the national traditions of Turkmen horse breeding. The meetings also covered methods of breeding and training Akhal-Teke horses, as well as issues related to the development of the industry in different countries.
Participants also devoted special attention to the history of Akhal-Teke horses, their unique characteristics and the procedures for the upcoming competitions. These issues are being considered as part of preparations for the international events, which are expected to be held in accordance with modern requirements and international standards.
