A musician from the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan is serving as concertmaster of the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra at the eighth International Tsinandali Classical Music Festival, being held in Georgia from Sept. 3–13, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia reported.
Young musicians from Turkmenistan, Georgia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Ukraine are participating in the festival.
The Tsinandali Festival will help young musicians develop professionally, improve their performance skills and exchange creative experience with internationally recognized musicians. The festival will also provide young musicians with opportunities to attend consultations and master classes led by prominent figures in contemporary classical music.
During the festival, Turkmen Ambassador to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with organizers and Turkmen musicians. He noted that the international platform, which brings together musicians from different countries, contributes significantly to the development of cultural dialogue and creative cooperation.
The Tsinandali Festival is one of the cultural events that provides broad opportunities for young musicians to expand their creative potential and further develop international cooperation, serving as an important cultural bridge between Europe and Asia.
