Mado, a popular cafe chain in Turkey, is to open its branch in Ashgabat soon. Local entrepreneurs, with the support of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, have been working to open the Mado cafe in Ashgabat since 2018.
Mado is famous for its ice cream, brand name confectionery products, as well as its special breakfast menu.
The local representative of the Mado cafe in Ashgabat told Business Turkmenistan Information Center that all products in the menu are imported from Turkey:
- As it is with all Mado branches around the world, Ashgabat branch of the café will import all products from Turkey in order to maintain the taste of the ingredients and quality of the dishes. Our main goal is to offer people ice cream made from goat milk, typical for Turkey, as well as variety of sweets. We will also offer our guests breakfast with cheeses from goat milk. The staff of our cafe attended special training in Turkey.
Mado was founded in 1850 by Yaşar Kanbur in the province of Kahramanmarash in Turkey. The ice cream shop became a chain after 1991. It has more than 305 restaurants and cafes in Turkey and around 305 branches in 20 countries around the world.
The Mado branch in Turkmenistan welcomes lovers of Turkish cuisine and ice cream to its upcoming opening event at the Arkadag park of culture and recreation in Ashgabat.
