An exhibition of Turkmenistan's economic achievements, dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Independence Day (September 27), kicked off at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.
Representatives of structural units of the economy’s public sector, sport and tourism organizations, and local private business enterprises attend the exhibition.
The exhibition presents Turkmenistan’s achievements in energy, oil and gas, construction, transport, communications, textile, chemical industry, agriculture and medical industry during its independence years at more than 70 stands.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a greeting to the participants of the exhibition organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Finance and Economics together with other ministries and industry departments of Turkmenistan.
“Enterprises that meet the highest modern standards are being commissioned in the country. Their environmentally friendly, competitive, and high-quality products are in high demand in international markets,” the Head of State noted in the greeting.
The exhibition runs on Monday until 18:00, and on Tuesday until 17:00.
