An international exhibition, dedicated to the nationwide Turkmen Carpet Day, widely celebrated on the last Sunday of May, was held in Ashgabat. The event was jointly organized by the Türkmenhaly (Turkmen Carpets) State Association and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the participants presented not only carpet products, but also national jewelry, textiles, and many other products manufactured by Turkmen enterprises.
Leading carpet manufacturers, businessmen, heads and representatives of trading companies, the World Association of Turkmen Hand-Made Carpet Weavers, and cultural centers attended the exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
