President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Thursday inspected the construction of the new modern administrative center of Ahal velayat – Ahal City.
The Head of the Directorate of Facilities Under Construction of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture Deryageldi Orazov and the Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev accompanied the Turkmen Leader during his visit, the country’s official media reports.
Deryageldi Orazov acquainted the Head of State with projects of social and other facilities under construction, including sketches of a Complex of Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center. The new complex houses the administrative building, the first-aid post, 2-level parking lot for 20 cars and many other facilities.
The Turkmen President was also briefed on the project of the new Museum of Ahal velayat, the 115-meter high flagpole, and the city’s road and transport infrastructure.
The general plan of the new city also includes the construction of the State Circus building.
The UIET Chairman Dovran Hudayberdiyev presented for consideration to the Turkmen Leader the projects of new buildings planned for construction at the city.
After reviewing the projects, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of adjustments and stressed the importance of ensuring the high quality of construction works.
Construction of the modern administrative center has begun in August 2019. Around $1.5 billion was allocated for its construction.
