President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday within the framework of his visit to the country’s northern province of Dashoguz took part in the opening ceremony of two medical facilities in the administrative center of the province, the city of Dashoguz.
The opening ceremonies gathered government officials, deputies of the parliament, heads of public organizations, honorary elders and youth.
A 450-bed multidisciplinary hospital and a 150-bed oncology hospital were built and equipped in accordance with international standards, the country’s official media reports.
The medical facilities include innovative equipment from the world's leading manufacturers and are capable of providing the population with high-quality medical services.
The multidisciplinary hospital consists of departments such as physiotherapy, dentistry, hemodialysis and chemotherapy, pediatrics, gynecology, neurotraumatology, surgery, urology, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, maternity ward and emergency department.
