Several Transport Exhibitions Open in Turkmen Coastal City of Turkmenbashi
Exhibition at the Passenger Ferry Terminal of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, August 14, 2022

Exhibitions opened at Turkmenbashi International Airport and Turkmenbashi International Seaport on Sunday within the framework of the International Ministerial Transport Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries, held in Avaza National Tourist Zone on August 15-16.

The exhibition organized at Turkmenbashi International Airport presented pavilions of international air terminals of the capital and administrative centers of the country's regions, the airports of Jebel and Kerki, Türkmenhowaýollary Agency, Turkmenistan Airlines company, as well as representative offices of some foreign airlines for guests and participants of the forum, the country’s official media reports.

In the second half of the day, there was an introductory tour of the international sea port facilities in Turkmenbashi for foreign participants and guests of the conference. Such logistics companies as Türkmen Halkara Awtoulagly Daşaýjylarynyny Assosiasiýasy, Türkmenistanyň Ulag-Logistika Merkezi and Deňiz söwda floty also took part in the tour. Many exhibitors presented their capabilities in transportation of large-sized cargoes.

The exhibition then opened at the Passenger Ferry Terminal of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport. The main objective of the exhibition is to demonstrate the potential of transport infrastructure of Turkmenistan, specifics of delivery of oversized and heavy cargoes to the Caspian region by different modes of transport, their transit to other states of Central Asia, including landlocked ones, through the territory of Turkmenistan.
