Saudi Embassy in Turkmenistan Celebrates Kingdom’s National Day in Turkmenistan
The guest of honor from the Turkmen side was Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the country's trade and textile complex.

The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Turkmenistan celebrated National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries on September 29 at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat.

For this occasion, the Embassy invited a folklore group and the operetta from the Kingdom, and organized a photo exhibition at the venue of the celebration, which featured regions of the Kingdom and its future projects as well as the Expo, and the Vision 2030.

The event also featured a corner of traditional Saudi items, clothing and handicrafts from different regions of the Kingdom, a corner of Saudi coffee and coffee pot, and a calligraphy corner.

A video presentation about the future cities of the Kingdom – Neom, Line and Red Sea – which are currently being built in the northwestern part of the Kingdom on the islands and the Red Sea coast was also shown to the participants.

The guest of honor from the Turkmen side was Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the country's trade and textile complex. The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps – heads of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, businesspeople, as well as a number of public figures of Ashgabat and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In their speeches, the Saudi Ambassador to Turkmenistan Said bin Osman Suwaid and the Vice-Premier Batyr Atdayev focused on deepening relations between the two countries.

At the end of the ceremony, the Ambassador presented symbolic gifts on the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day to all participants.
