The sixth meeting of foreign ministers of Russia and Central Asia will take part on April 14 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the TASS news agency reported on Thursday.
Foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Russia will attend the meeting.
The event will focus on the promising areas of six-sided cooperation in politics and diplomacy, trade and economics, transportation, energy, and cultural and humanitarian fields.
According to the report, the parties intend to exchange assessments and compare positions on current regional and international agenda issues.
According to Uzbek media, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States will meet in Samarkand on 14 April 2023, with delegations from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the CIS Executive Committee attending.
