Garagum Economic Society showcased its nonwoven products at the INDEX 23 World's Leading Nonwovens Exhibition in Geneva from April 18 to 21. The event, which takes place every three years, is the largest global nonwovens gathering and features exhibitors from around the world.

INDEX23 covers a wide range of nonwoven products, including machinery, adhesives, chemicals, and composites, as well as surface treatments and waste-handling equipment. This year Index 2023-Geneva exhibition hosts 600 exhibitors from more than 100 countries. More than 13000 thousand visitors came to the Palexpo exhibition center.

During the exhibition, Garagum Nonwoven had positive discussions with consumers from Europe and the Middle East. Participation at INDEX23 is a promising development for the company, which began exporting its products to Eastern Europe and CIS countries in late 2022.

Garagum Nonwoven produces spun-bond, melt-blown, and spun melt materials and converts them to disposable products such as eco bags, face masks, hats, aprons, coveralls, and blankets from its high-quality fabrics. Although Garagum is one of the youngest companies attending this trade fair, it proved its quality by becoming the only member of EDANA in Central Asia.

EDANA is a global trade organization that brings together nonwoven manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers. The group promotes sustainable practices and the growth of the nonwovens industry through advocacy, education, and networking.
