Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern’s Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the major oil refinery in Turkmenistan, in January-March 2023 processed about 1.1 million tons of oil, surpassing the plan of 103.3 percent, the official Turkmen media reported on Saturday.

According to the report, in the first three months of 2023, the total plan for gasoline production was 105 percent, kerosene 112.2 percent, diesel fuel 109 percent, polypropylene 104.5 percent and liquefied gas 1.5 percent, along with 20.5 thousand tons of oil bitumen.

The complex produces motor fuel, aviation and technical kerosene, jet and diesel fuel, kerosene, motor oils, polypropylene, heating oil, light gas oil, petroleum electrode coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen, and other oil products.

TCOR products form the basis of Turkmenistan's export direction and is designed to produce 2 million tons of fuel oil, 250,000 tons of liquefied gas and 230,000 tons of low-octane light gasoline.
