The National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation on Monday, during which they discussed bilateral cooperation, the official website of the President of Tajikistan reported.
During the conversation, the National Leader of Turkmen people and the President of Tajikistan discussed preparations for the events of the highest regional level, including the summits of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, which will be held in Dushanbe in September 2023.
In addition, the sides also discussed the results of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan on May 10-11 this year.
A package of bilateral documents was signed following the talks between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
