Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan amounted to $110.5 million in January-March this year, a year-on-year increase of 6 percent, according to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan.
During the period, Kazakhstan exported products worth $90.6 million. At the same time, Kazakhstan imported products from Turkmenistan for $19.9 million.
The main part of Kazakhstan's exports to Turkmenistan are cereals, flour, ferrous metals, chemical and mineral fertilizers, and non-metallic ores. In turn, the main imports of Kazakhstan include citrus fruits, tomatoes, mineral, chemical and textile products.
Last year, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $438.2 million.
