The launch of high-speed freight trains via Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan and Iran, with cargo consolidation in Chelyabinsk, is being finalized, TASS news agency reported on Thursday, citing Alexei Teksler, the governor of the Chelyabinsk region in Russia.
Teksler said that the border with Kazakhstan makes this region of Russia the best entry-exit point for interaction between the entire industrial Urals and Central Asia.
Turkmen delegation headed by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev is taking part in the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 14-17, 2023.
According to the announcement of Turkmen Embassy in Moscow, the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan will address the session "Carbon regulation and creation of the market of carbon units in Asia, Africa and the Middle East” within the forum.
Later, Minister Jorayev will meet with Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.
