Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Complex, Textile Industry and Entrepreneurship, reported on the ongoing work on preparations for Turkmenistan's participation in the International Exhibition "Expo-2023 Doha" and the International Trade Exhibition Foodex Saudi, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
According to the official Turkmen media, the International Exhibition "Expo-2023 Doha" will be held from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, and Foodex Saudi will be held in September 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers also spoke about preparations for Turkmenistan's participation in the World Expo 2025.
The Head of State emphasized the need for organizational preparations for the upcoming international exhibitions abroad and gave instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister in this regard.
The meeting of the government also touched upon socio-economic development of the country.
