Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov on Tuesday held a meeting with Director General of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, the sides discussed the current agenda of economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
In addition, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Director General of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms noted the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Turkmen Foreign Minister outlined priorities for further development of bilateral relations, noting the importance of cooperation in green technologies, the manufacturing sector, energy, agriculture, water management, and education.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Germany were established on March 6, 1992.
