The Azerbaijan Franchising Association intends to organize the Turan-Economic Forum in the country in December of this year with the aim of attracting investments in the tourism industry, Trend news agency reported on Thursday, citing a statement by the Chairman of the Board of the association Jamid Movsumov.
The forum is expected to gather more than 500 companies from over 100 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, and Russia. The organizers of the forum expressed hope for successful investment agreements to be concluded during the event.
Movsumov also highlighted that this year the forum will be held in Baku, and in subsequent years - in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Hungary.
The Azerbaijan Franchising Association is the first organization in Azerbaijan that promotes, protects, and provides information support in the field of franchising.
