Turkmenistan imported mineral products worth of €7.64 million from the European Union countries in January-June 2023, Trend news agency reported on Monday, citing the statistical office of the European Union – Eurostat.
According to the report, these figures for the corresponding period are 33.1 percent more than in the first six months of last year (€5.11 million).
Turkmenistan in June 2023 imported mineral products from EU countries in the amount of more than €517.6 thousand.
In the first five months of 2023, Turkmenistan increased its imports from EU countries by 4 percent compared to January-May 2022 to €221.5 million.
In 2022, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries amounted to €1 billion.
