Ayenco, a Turkish company, is interested in acquiring BOPP films (biaxially oriented polypropylene films) that are manufactured in Turkmenistan. The company has been purchasing polypropylene films produced in Turkmenistan for the past two years.
Currently, Ayenco distributes the goods obtained from Turkmenistan in Turkey and Eastern European markets as finished products through both retail and wholesale trade, Ayenco told Business Turkmenistan.
Ayenco procures approximately 6 thousand tons of BOPP films annually, not only from Turkmenistan but also from Russia and China. This year, Ayenco has also entered into an agreement with an Iranian company called Piran Polymer Pars, whereby they plan to acquire 30 percent of the annual production of polypropylene films from this Iranian company.
BOPP films find applications as packaging materials in various industries such as food, textile, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, cosmetics, and others.
In July 2018, a new BOPP film production facility was inaugurated at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR).
The Turkmen refinery has the capability to produce 21 thousand tons of BOPP films annually. Additionally, in 2021, the company commenced the production of pearlized white polypropylene film.
Businesses interested in cooperation with Ayenco – who wishes to continue BOPP films produced in Turkmenistan – can get detailed information on the company's website.
