Mongolian President Khürelsükh Ukhnaa has invited Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit the country at a time convenient for him, according to a congratulatory letter from the President of Mongolia to his Turkmen counterpart sent on the occasion of the Turkmenistan’s Independence Day.
"I will be glad to host you, Mr President, in our beautiful country to establish promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at enriching the friendly relations between Mongolia and Turkmenistan with new content. Dear Mr President, please accept my invitation to visit Mongolia at a time convenient for you to facilitate and develop bilateral relations between the two countries to open a new historical page of joint cooperation,"
President Khürelsükh Ukhnaa said in his congratulatory letter, the official Turkmen media reported on Tuesday.
In his congratulatory letter, the President of Mongolia noted that over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, bilateral partnership has been steadily developing and strengthening both in the regional and international arenas.
In addition, the Mongolian President wished President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and happiness, peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Turkmenistan.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Mongolia were established on 23 April 1992.
