Six Companies Accepted into Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association

September 29, 2023, a business forum on "TITR 2023: Innovation and Development in the Era of Digitalisation" was held in Aktau, during which the following companies were admitted as members of the Association: Alport (Azerbaijan), BMF Port Burgas (Bulgaria), Semurg Invest (Kazakhstan), LTG Cargo (Lithuania), Global DTC Pte.Ltd (Singapore) and Eastcomtrans LLP (Kazakhstan).

The forum is dedicated to the dynamically developing and changing situation in the region of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Sea Routes) press service reported on Saturday.

According to the report, the members of the association are representatives of 11 countries, and their number has increased to 25 companies.

At the meeting, the participants of the General Meeting noted an increase in the volume of freight traffic along the TITR route. They also signed an Agreement, which regulates interaction and responsibility in organising the carriage of goods in container trains on the TITR route using feeder vessels. In particular, an Agreement was signed on the creation of a system of container transportations within the framework of direct international railway-maritime communication with the use of feeder vessels between the Caspian Sea ports (Aktau - Baku (Alyat).

At the forum, speakers and participants held discussions on future infrastructure projects along the TITR route. They also considered strategic solutions and innovative methods to respond quickly to changes in the transport and logistics market conditions.
