January-October: Türkmenhowaýollary Services Achieve 209.2% Growth Rate

During a government meeting on Friday, the General Director of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammethan Chakyev, reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov that the Türkmenhowaýollary agency experienced a growth rate of 209.2 percent in the provision of services from January to October of this year.

In his report, Mammethan Chakyev further stated that during the same period, the growth rates of various agencies were as follows: Türkmendemirýollary (Turkmen Railways) agency experienced a growth rate of 108.2 percent, Türkmenawtoulaglary (Turkmenautomobiles) agency saw a growth rate of 118.9 percent, Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Transport) agency achieved a growth rate of 107.1 percent, and Türkmenaragatnaşyk (Turkmen Communications) agency recorded a growth rate of 111.5 percent.

Overall, the comprehensive growth rate in work and service provision performance across the complex reached 122.7 percent. Furthermore, there was notable growth in cargo transportation across various modes of transport, which gained 106.3 percent, while passenger transportation achieved a growth rate of 105.2 percent.

Upon hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan emphasized the significance of modernizing organizations and enterprises while emphasising the need to train qualified specialists.

The government meeting focused on summarizing the economic sectors' work results during the first ten months of the current year, reviewing various document drafts, and discussing priority tasks pertaining to the country's socio-economic development.
