The Turkmen-Azerbaijani business forum is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat on November 27-28 this year, the Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Complex, Textile Industry and Entrepreneurship Batyr Atdayev reported during the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday.
Ashgabat will host the seventh session of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijani Commission on the same days, the official Turkmen media reports.
Batyr Atdayev highlighted that companies within the oil and gas industry, textile industry, agriculture and food production, construction and building materials, pharmaceutical industry, transport and logistics, and information technology are expected to participate in the events.

Additionally, a series of bilateral meetings and negotiations between representatives of the Turkmen business community and Azerbaijani companies is planned. Subsequently, relevant documents will be signed following the forum.
The Deputy Prime Minister also provided updates on the preparations for the Agro-Pack Türkmenistan - 2023 exhibition, which will take place from November 28 to 30 this year. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure proper event preparations and requested specific instructions accordingly.
The government meeting focused on the essential tasks related to the country's socio-economic development. The meeting also addressed the review of drafts for various documents and deliberated on other pertinent matters.
