Babadayhan Textile Complex Achieves Nearly 4000 Tonnes Cotton Yarn Output

The Babadayhan Textile Complex, situated in the Babadayhan district of Ahal province, produced 3,858 tonnes of raw cotton yarn in 2023.

According to the official Turkmen media, the complex also achieved an impressive output of over 572 thousand tonnes of knitted goods last year.

During the same period, the Babadayhan cotton complex recorded a substantial increase in total revenue from selling cotton yarn, amounting to 124.6 million manats. This represents a noteworthy rise of 189.3 million manats compared to the figures reported in 2022.

Renowned for producing a variety of cotton yarn types with global market demand, including 31/1, 51/1, 68/1 staple lengths, and 85/1 fine narrow lint, the majority of cotton exports from the complex carry the brand name Mäne.

The Babadayhan cotton complex, inaugurated on November 17, 2021, encompasses a comprehensive infrastructure, including a ginning facility, two multi-story administrative buildings, warehouses, a transformer substation, a workshop, a fire-resistant building, a 450-seat dining hall, a 16-room guesthouse, and a sports field.
