Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, during a regular online meeting on Friday proposed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the organization of a visit by the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to Turkmenistan in March.

The proposal aims at enhancing Turkmenistan's connections with the organization, as reported by the official Turkmen media.

Plans also include arranging the visit of the Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Head of the Committee on Combating Terrorism of this Assembly to Turkmenistan in April. The objective is to bolster the country's involvement in counter-terrorism efforts within the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly on Security and Cooperation in Europe and to expand collaboration with the Committee.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposals and directed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to ensure the organization of all planned events at a high level.
